Texas Loan originator Course

The Texas Department of Savings and Mortgage Lending (TDSML) transition to the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) begins on April 2, 2010. The following groups will have in between April 2 through May 31, 2010 to submit and complete a Form MU4 (Mortgage Universal 40) through the NMLS.
  • Mortgage Banker Company (Non-Depository Company)
  • Financial Services Company (Primerica DFinancial Services, State Farm Insurance)
  • Credit Union Subsidiary
  • Auxilliary Mortgage Loan Activity ( HUD Counselors, Non profit organizations like NACA & ACORN).

Loan Officer/Loan Processor Licesne Requirements:
  1. Licensee must complete 20 hours of National Mortgage License System Approved SAFE Education.
  • 20 hours in Mortgage Loan Originators SAFE Comprehensive
